American Dog Derby   The first Ashton dog-sled race was run in 1917. Recently revived, the races are now held on an annual basis, usually scheduled in February, This exciting event brings racers from every walk of life and experience ― from novices to seasoned Iditarod veterans. The Ashton Inn offers a discounted rate to mushers and spectators alike!

Snowmobile "SnowCross"   At an elevation of nearly a mile, this is the perfect spot to find snow. Each year we have the exciting snow machine "Snowcross". The Ashton Inn is the perfect home base for racer, family, and friends who love the snow machining sport!

Mesa Falls Marathon   With a course starting at one of the most scenic falls in the area, the Mesa Falls Marathon is considered one of the 50 Great US Marathons. One recent runner even said, "Majestic scenery takes me to a zen place and I usually finish with a smile on my face." How could we possibly say anything better?

Ashton Cattle Drive   It happens every year when the cattle need to come down from their summer grazing grounds to their winter pasture.
